To qualify for a "Free Swim Wednesday" membership, you can sign up online if you are a Riverton resident in good standing.

Summer Pool Hours (June 21, 2019 - September 2, 2019):
Monday - Thursday (Please note that, on Wednesdays, residents only are allowed at the pools. However, non-residents may once again swim at the pools on Wednesday, August 28 (only).
11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

The pool area is open daily when the air temperature is 65 degrees F or higher. Please note that if there is a torrential downpour or thunder and lightning, the pool area will not be open. There are three pools: lap (only one heated), diving, and kiddie. The heated lap pool is set at approximately 82 degrees F, although the temperature could vary depending upon the weather. The heater is always turned off at night.
CASH AT POOL: $20 bills are not accepted for transactions under $10. Please remember that you can purchase guest passes online with a credit card.
USE OF THE DEEP END OR A DIVING BOARD requires anyone under the age of 18 to complete a deep end test provided by RCA lifeguards. After passing the deep-end test, a "green wristband" is given and will need to be worn to swim in the deep end.
POOL CLOSING GUIDELINES: RCA reserves the right to change pool hours for special programs or weather conditions. Please check this website or call the pool office for closures. The pool staff may, from time to time during the day, close one of the pools for breaks, maintenance, or special group use. During heavy rain or the threat of lightening or thunder, the pool will be closed, and all swimmers must leave the pool area until the guards reopen the area.
UPON CHECK-IN: Please check in with a staff member upon entering the pool area. If you have purchased a Provisional Membership, additional usage fees apply. Provisional Resident Fee: $1 per person per day. Provisional Non-Resident Fee: $2 per person per day. If you are bringing a guest, please see the guest rules.
Sorry, no guests are allowed on Wednesdays for the 2019 pool season. If bringing a guest another day, please make sure that the guest is a person from outside of Riverton. You cannot reside in Riverton and be a guest. The conduct of guests is the direct responsibility of the pool member. A pool member must accompany a guest to the check-in desk and sign him/her in. The pool member is also required to stay with the guest. A pool membership may have up to five (5) guests per day.
Resident Pool Member: $3.00 per guest (No guests are allowed on Wednesdays.)
Non-Resident Pool Member: $5.00 per guest (No guests are allowed on Wednesdays.)
All guests under the age of ten (10) must be checked in by an adult member. However, a child who is a pool member may sign in any of his/her guest(s).
NOTE: The Riverton Community Association is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property. Members should be encouraged to safeguard their valuables when in the pool. The Board reserves the right to revoke the membership of any member who disobeys any of the pool rules. In addition, the pool staff may suspend pool privileges of any person not complying with these rules for up to three days without the approval of the Board.
No child under age 10 is allowed at pools without a guardian that is 14 or older.
No glass bottles, containers, diving masks, etc., are allowed.
No alcoholic beverages or illegal substances are allowed.
No smoking in and around the pool complex including immediately outside the gate.
No foul language or misbehavior.
No dive sticks. (Dive rings are fine to use.)
No cutoffs or shorts in the pools. Please wear proper swim attire.
No babies/toddlers in pools without close-fitting rubber pants or swim diapers.
No eating and drinking within 6 feet of pools.
No bikes, skateboards, sneaker skates, or roller blades in the pool area.
No running, horseplay, chicken fights, or pushing.
No jumping/diving with diving masks.
No long hair in pool without a tie (shoulder length or longer).
Weather - Closing Rules:
If there is a threat of thunder/lightning/heavy rain, the pools will be closed.
If the pools close, all members must leave the pool deck.
A listing of hours and special closings will be updated on our website. Please note that RCA reserves the right to make changes to the schedule if/when necessary.
Guest definition: Any person who does not live in RCA. (Residents cannot be guests.)
Guest(s) must be accompanied by pool member (adult or child).
Guest conduct is the responsibility of pool member.
Child Non-Swimmer Rules:
Must have supervision in pool with guardian staying within arm’s length of child.
Must have “Coast Guard” approved swim aids for use in shallow ends of pool. (Children not allowed in deep end.)
Children 8 and under are allowed in the wading pool.
Parental supervision is required when a child is in the wading pool.
Do not use inflatable toys in lap or dive pools. Inflatable toys are allowed in the wading pool only.
Non-swimmers (including a child with swim aids) are NOT allowed in the deep end of any pool.
Swimmers are not allowed in the lap lane when that lane is being used.
No jumping over lap lanes.
No hanging on pool lines.
Dive Pool Rules:
Use of deep end and diving board requires swimmers to take a deep end test administered by lifeguard.
Diving is only permitted from diving board or pool sides between the ladders and diving board.
Diving is prohibited anywhere else.
No running dives allowed.
One person on diving board at a time.
Only forward dives and jumps allowed. No flips, reverses, inward, backward, or other dives allowed.
Only one bounce on the end of the board is allowed.
No jumping or diving until the area in front of the board is completely cleared from other swimmers.
NOTE: THE POOL STAFF IS IN COMPLETE CHARGE OF THE POOL PREMISES AND AUTHORIZED TO ENFORCE ALL RULES. FOR ANY MEMBER WHO DOES NOT FOLLOW THESE RULES, MEMBERSHIP PRIVILEGES CAN BE SUSPENDED/REVOKED. A PARENT/GUARDIAN IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CHILDREN WHO ENTER WITH THEM.
